NEW ORLEANS, LA – Kindred Arts presents acclaimed American artists Hank Willis Thomas,  Coby Kennedy & Christopher Myers in a group showing .The two titans of contemporary art appear as a part of Monumental Tour, a traveling outdoor art exhibit honoring Black & Brown histories & empowering social change through the arts. 

The installations will open to the public on June 17th and will be on view through July 12 2022. Please join us as we celebrate the arrival of these symbols of Black Empowerment and salute the abundant cultural wealth and creativity of New Orleans.

The installations were made possible with support from a coalition of organizations: New Orleans Tourism and Cultural Fund,  The Office of Cultural Economy, Baldwin & Co Books, Ashé Cultural Arts Center and Essence Festival of Culture.

The entirety of the unveiling events will take place outdoors.
