The installations will open to the public on June 18th and will be on view through August 30 2021, accompanied by outdoor and virtual program series.
Please join us for the unveiling events, Juneteenth weekend.
The entirety of the unveiling events will take place outdoors.
Those interested in learning about the works and information on public programs, regardless of geographic location, can visit the exhibit virtually at www.monumentaltour.org.
The installations were made possible with support from Wide Awakes Chicago alongside a coalition of organizations including Grow Greater Englewood and Blanc Gallery.
The placements are a monumental salute to Chicago’s organizers, currently driving equity efforts. We hope you can join us in recognizing these monumental symbols of empowerment.
In solidarity,
